The Board of Trustees and the Transitional Management Team of the SLBC is seeking competent and suitable Sierra Leoneans (Domestic or in the Diaspora) to fill in these vacancies:

Job Description for Director of Commercial Services
The Director of Commercial Services is part of the management team at SLBC. He / She supervises staff within the Commercial Directorate which is responsible among other things, for radio, television and news letters. The position is a very viable one for the corporation and involves a high degree of collaboration with staff and the general public.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
He /She will undertake feasibility studies for new areas of business and continuous evaluation of existing business.
Ensure that enough revenue is generated through radio and television advertisements and other company operated outlets.
In liaison with the director of finance and administration, ensure that all business is covered by prompt collection of proceeds.
Sales Promotion and Advertising
He / She will be responsible for organising appropriate sales /marketing promotion strategies and advertising campaign to meet the short, medium and long-term marketing targets of the corporation in the face of competition.
In consultation with other functions within the corporation, negotiates in close liaison with the director of finance and administration the best terms for customers
As the focal point for the marketing of the corporation, will be responsible for taking marketing decisions that will ensure maximum profitability at minimum cost for total quality customer service
Qualifications and experience:
The suitable candidate must be a holder of a masters degree or equivalent professional qualification in any of the following disciplines:- Business Administration, Marketing or Mass Communication.
Must have business acumen
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good people management skills, dedication to work and strong emphasis on character and integrity
