Anyway it is too early to say any thing about his performances . sierra leone has been rated one of the poorest country in the world, why ?, because of lack of developments and the country has been abused by the previous leaders.. poor education ,no medical facilities and the country has been denied the basic elements that other  part world are not even thinking about any more, thats is water, education, electricity, medical facilities and many more. so you looking at these basic opportunities that we already lack, and corruption has become the order of the day. our politics is a means of getting rich, no one wants to make history. So we have to get a patriot who is ready  to sacrifies and prepare the futurefor the younger generations.

Anyway, there is a whole lot to say about our counry that needs to be fixed. These are problems you cannot fix overnigt. So let give him at least two years so we might be able to rate him. for now his is doing fine.

thaks

Fatmata,

Right now, I think President Koroma is doing ok.  The problem he faces as a president is how to deal with the corruption that has plagued us from independence.  His firing of Minister Kemoh Sesay who is implicated in the Cocaine investigation is a good move.  What he has to do in the future is probe each of his ministers and see who is really interested in developing the country.  We need to give him more time to perform.

So far so good the president has not yet done anything to move me, people might upset if I say is just another womanizer and a drunkard I have talked to people that know him very well, and I sow what happen when he came in Washington DC last year I was there and knew what I sow and hard please brothers and sisters let put this guy in the microscope. If some one want to prove me wrong look at all his appointment team their past records majority of them is very horrible. The cabinet reshuffle is just the same he just move them around please tell me how many of them are competent to the job this are all bunch of crooks.

you don't take a man and put him in hell and hope he turn it to heaven over night..he needs time but at the same time he should be responsible for his friends (prime ministers and etc) who are doing the same old politics. we need to put aside our personal and trabalist idealogies for us to hold our government accountable for his decisions. its impossible to pick a side and think you be neutral in judging

If I were to grade president Koroma from 1-10, one being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I would give him a 91/2. that's a nine and half. Considering the country he inherideted and what he has accomplished so far, the man deserves our appreciation and support. He is on track to accomplish the goals he highlighted during his campaign. To bring Sierra Leone out of darkness. The Long awaited Bumbuna projected has been completed, Freetown is now lit by power from Bumbuna. To link Sierra Leone back together through the construction of major and feeder roads. This is now in progress, all major highways in the country have been assigned contractors and most of the funds have been provided. The Peninsula road construction has commenced. It is a 4 lane highway from Lumley to No 2 River and beyond. To make Sierra Leone food sufficient. Recently the president commissioned more than 300 tractors, power tiller, harvesters, and other modern farm equipments. The largest so far in the country's history. Visit Freetown today. Not long ago this city won two ignoble awards of being the daekest city in the world. That is now history. It was also branded as the dirtiest city in the planet. Go see for your self now. From Allen town to Goderich, the city has been cleared of all the rubbish 'bafas' and other street trading structures that made the city an eye sore. Gone are the mountains of trash that used to decirate the city. Now Freetown is been cleaned 24/7. The city council is decorating Freetown and building public toilet facilities. World class market centers to deal with street trading once and for all are been constructed in the city. Go to Sewa grounds and behold what the president promised would be the best market center in the sub region. The president has set up an education commission, a youth commision, to look into the issues affecting this areas of the country. Two minning companies would soon start operation in the nom rehabilitated Marampa Mines, and the newly discovered billion tons of iron ore deposits at Ferengbenya in the Tonkolili district. Have you heard the news? Shhh! Sierra Leone has oil, and this time around this mineral will benifit the people. The president has stated publicly that he would do all he can to avoid the curse of the diamonds. Lets pray for him. Sierra Leone is now lauded world wide as one of the best places to do business in.Gone are the days of waiting over a month to register a business in S.Leone. Now no attorney is needed and it takes less than 72 hours to register a business. Sierra Leone is among the 10must-visit countries in the world by Lonely Planet. The president is the first in our history to declare his assets after he took office, followed by his ministers, parliamentarians and all civil servants. The Anti Corruption Commission has ben upgraded and strengthened to prosecute its own cases. The president has declared on several occasions that there are no sacred cows in his administration, including members of his own family. Now the president is organizing a one of it's kind Donor and Investor Conference in London England, together with Tony Blair, for British Prime Minister, to sho case Sierra Leone's economic potentials to the entire world. Who knows what good may come out of this, with the country now rated as the second best to do business in Sub-Saharan Africa, after South Africa. I think There is a lot of positives to be credited to this president who is just two yesrs in office. Ladies and gentlemen, this is coming from some one who goes to Sierra Leone almost every other month. I don't get my information solely from news papers and the net, I go there my self. Been there 3 times already this year, and may go back b4 year's end. Some times I stay for 2 pr 3 months. I think I earned the right to give a fair perspective of developments on the ground.
